Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (dependent on experience)
About Innsena: Innsena is a strategy-first go-to-market consultancy for the health technology sector. Our market access practice works with companies, non-profits, and governmental entities to enter new markets, expand services and market share, leverage policy as a tailwind and improve interoperability and patient access across states.
Job Summary: The Director or Senior Manager, Market Access supports and leads market access client services and projects and business development efforts. This role reports to Innsena’s Managing Director or Vice President, Market Access, and is part of a cross-functional team. This individual must have deep healthcare industry knowledge, including familiarity with state and federal government health IT data regulations and initiatives, understanding of barriers to adoption and successful use of health IT, and experience within Medicaid or public health. This role must bring established expertise, relationships, and networks in these areas to accomplish goals and objectives for our clients and organization that are transformative and innovative. Interpersonal skills are key, and this position is expected to liaise with clients and advise on market access strategy. Clients vary from health technology companies to health information exchanges to state and federal government organizations. Candidates who qualify for the role of Director have more relevant experience and have more established relationships/networks than candidates who qualify for the Senior Manager role.

Innsena’s market access practice is a growing team with a rapidly expanding client base. Responsibilities may change as our team grows.
Experience: An ideal candidate for the Director role will have between 7-10 years of experience in a client-facing role in health tech, state/federal policy or related roles, or a mix of work experience and advanced education. Whereas, the ideal candidate for the Senior manager role will have 5-7 years of related experience. Candidate must have existing relationships and networks in public health and Medicaid at the state and local levels that they will leverage and cultivate to accomplish organizational and client goals and objectives. Candidates for the Director’s role bring more established relationships and networks than a candidate for the Senior Manager in these fields. A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in the health technology industry is required—experience may have been gained working in a state, federal, non-profit or private sector health technology-focused role. Consulting and business development experience in a client-facing role is strongly preferred.
Travel: This team is client-first. In-person meetings and travel are a critical part of the job. Travel is estimated to be 20% but may be up to 50%. This role will be responsible for hosting in person meetings, dinners, and events which may require weekend and evening work.
Work setting: Innsena is a virtual consultancy with team members located across the country. We do not care where you work as long as you are able to meet the demands of clients and our consultancy.
