Job Summary: The Director or Senior Manager, Market Access supports and leads market access client services and projects and business development efforts. This role reports to Innsena’s Managing Director or Vice President, Market Access, and is part of a cross-functional team. This individual must have deep healthcare industry knowledge, including familiarity with state and federal government health IT data regulations and initiatives, understanding of barriers to adoption and successful use of health IT, and experience within Medicaid or public health. Interpersonal skills are key, and this position is expected to liaise with clients and advise on market access strategy. Clients vary from health technology companies to health information exchanges to state and federal government organizations. Whereas, the ideal candidate for the Senior manager role will have 5-7 years of related experience. Candidate must have existing relationships and networks in public health and Medicaid at the state and local levels that they will leverage and cultivate to accomplish organizational and client goals and objectives. Consulting and business development experience in a client-facing role is strongly preferred.

Travel: This team is client-first. In-person meetings and travel are a critical part of the job. Travel is estimated to be 20% but may be up to 50%. This role will be responsible for hosting in person meetings, dinners, and events which may require weekend and evening work.

Work setting: Innsena is a virtual consultancy with team members located across the country. We do not care where you work as long as you are able to meet the demands of clients and our consultancy. While we strive for work/life balance and ensure no single consultant or team is assigned excessive hours per month, Innsena is a client services organization with a client-first culture. You are expected to support and/or lead calls to accommodate these influencers and clients no matter where you live.

Culture: Innsena is a client-first organization. People are our product. We work hard to build an environment for staff to grow and experience life. We invest in our people and require that in exchange our people invest in building this consultancy with the goal of being the best in the industry.

We only hire the best, and our people have autonomy and flexibility to meet client needs. We celebrate each other’s differences – it’s what makes everyone at Innsena valuable. A hundred people with the same backgrounds equate to boring and failed output. Religious, sexual, political, and cultural differences will always be respected at Innsena. We only hire the best – which means we have a lot of smart people with strong opinions. We listen and learn from each other, and that ultimately pushes us to be better at our jobs.

We are not afraid of responsibility and accountability. We work hard, and we play even harder – but your preference for the latter is up to you. We cultivate and support personal interests and priorities outside of Innsena, as long as you continue to uphold our pillars and meet client needs.
